These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of The Newport Studio’s services, including photography sessions, design & ordering appointments, promotional or giveaway sessions and any installation services. By booking with us or accepting delivery of products, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
At The Newport Studio, we believe family photography is about more than just beautiful images – it’s about capturing meaningful moments you’ll treasure forever. Our goal is for every family to enjoy their experience, return year after year and share their joy with friends and family.
By using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a booking. These Terms form the full agreement between you and The Newport Studio.
All photographs, digital files, designs, and materials produced by The Newport Studio remain the copyright of Daisy Stockbridge. Clients are granted a licence to use purchased images for personal, non-commercial use only. Any reproduction, commercial use, or distribution without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
• A booking deposit is required to secure photography sessions and design & ordering appointments.
• Deposits protect against last-minute cancellations and no-shows.
• Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations or missed appointments within 12 hours of the scheduled session or appointment.
• If you attend your session as scheduled, your deposit may be applied as a print credit toward your order or refunded if no additional purchase is made.
• Reschedules are subject to availability and may be made up to 48 hours before the session free of charge.
• Promotional or giveaway sessions are one-time experiences and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Complimentary prints included are fulfilled once only.
• The Newport Studio is not responsible for delays or missed deliveries caused by address changes, relocation, or unavailable recipients.
• Physical prints and artwork may take up to six weeks to deliver.
• Digital images will be delivered via email within two weeks.
• Mock-up designs are intended to be accurate, but size and scale cannot be guaranteed.
• Complimentary or promotional prints are shipped within New South Wales only; interstate or international shipping is not available.
We cannot offer refunds on ordered prints. However, our priority is that you cherish your photographs. If you are not completely satisfied with your delivered products, please contact us — we will work with you to find a solution.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable legislation. To the extent permitted by law, we reserve the right to enforce these Terms.
To the extent permitted by law, The Newport Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, damage, or expense arising from your use of our services.
• Clients attend sessions at their own risk; children and pets must be supervised at all times.
• The Newport Studio is not responsible for any injury, accident, or loss occurring during photography sessions.
• Once prints or artwork have been delivered, The Newport Studio is not liable for damage, misuse, or loss.
While we provide guidance and advice during sessions and consultations, The Newport Studio is not responsible for any loss, cost, or damage arising from client decisions based on that guidance.
The Newport Studio is not liable for delays or failure to provide services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, pandemics, power outages, or acts of God. We will make every effort to reschedule sessions or deliver products as soon as reasonably possible.
• We collect personal information for bookings, session management, deliveries, and marketing (if opted in).
• We do not store credit card or banking information; payments are processed securely via our providers.

• When The Newport Studio provides installation or hanging of prints, framed artwork, or wall products, we take care to do so safely and professionally.
• Clients acknowledge that some risk is inherent in any installation. By agreeing to installation services, clients release The Newport Studio from liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to wall damage, surface marks, or minor scratches.
• While our team will take all reasonable care, The Newport Studio is not liable for injury, damage, or loss arising from conditions beyond our control (e.g., unstable walls, pre-existing structural issues, or client-owned mounting equipment).
• Clients are responsible for disclosing any hazards or limitations of the installation site.
• These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
• If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms continues in effect.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to services or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on our website or emailed to clients.
THESE TERMS REPRESENT THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND THE NEWPORT STUDIO REGARDING YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES. NO OTHER AGREEMENTS, REPRESENTATIONS, OR UNDERSTANDINGS (VERBAL OR WRITTEN) APPLY UNLESS EXPLICITLY AGREED IN WRITING.
The Newport Studio acknowledges the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we live and work, the Garigal people of the Dharug nation. We pay our respect to their elders past and present.
